Schedule fields (user-visible effects)
- Each card has a due time. Recommended practice prefers cards that are due.
- Spacing is driven by a per-card half-life (how long Lexorium expects the memory to last).
Defaults and bounds

After a correct answer
- Half-life grows (growth factor depends on how long the current half-life already is).
- Next due time is roughly now plus the new half-life.
- Growth is reduced if you used a Hint, answered slowly (more than about 12 seconds), succeeded on a harder skill (free recall, context, discrimination, lemma recognition, morphology), or succeeded in a highly supportive sentence.
- Growth also depends on how efficiently you have been learning that word (how many attempts it took to stabilize).
After an incorrect answer
- Half-life shrinks sharply.
- Card is due again in about 10 minutes.
Practice when nothing is due
If no cards are due, Recommended practice may still sample about 25% of your eligible (not-yet-due) cards.
